The Canadian Nuclear Society is a learned society and one part of its mandate is to provide factual information on nuclear issues to the public. We avoid expressing opinions and lobbying to focus primarily on the science and engineering. More recently we have set up the core business blog. This has a bit more latitude to enable our Communications Director to discuss arising communications issues but the articles are still carefully peer reviewed and stylistically appropriate for a learned society.
